The Cystinosis project co-incided with an international conference on a rare genetic disorder called Cystinosis. The project took place on 27th and 28th June 2008, in the Hilton Hotel, North Strand, Dublin.

Artists involved were: Serena Teehan, Gerard Erraught, Fiona Marron, Peter Dowie, John Mayock, Andrew Carson, Nadia Shah, and Camilla Kane, also helped by Nicole Teehan and Bernie Erraught.

The piece involved interaction and engagement with all in attendance at the conference, including the doctors, patients, families & scientists.
